It's at Gustamps located at 12 Prince Albert Street Brighton close to the Brighton lanes that you will find a warm welcome and everything a stamp collector could wish for.
If you have visited Gustamps shop recently then Gustamps would love to hear you valued comments.
Gus made feel like family, his knowledge and his craft are unmatched you have to visit his shop next time in Brighton
ReplyDeleteWe found this little shop and popped in for a browse as I have a collection and wanted some advice. Gustamps is an amazing little place and the lovely man draws you in with his enthusiasm. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains history to some of the stamps very clearly. We bought some stamps there cheaper than the post office and they are great fun with many lovely themes to them. I will definitely be going back to ask him to review my collection. Infact I plan on taking a special trip just for that. Highly recommended
ReplyDeleteBrilliant shop full of interesting stamps, but great value for money on 1st class stamps, 45p instead of 63p and nice to choose some pretty and beautiful stamps. Great personal friendly service too.
ReplyDeleteHad a visit today and Gus was such a lovely guy and so helpful!
ReplyDeleteI even learnt a bit more about collecting!

ReplyDeleteA small shop, but the collections even like a museum. Got many good stamp collections about historic. And the seller gave some really good stamp collections as gifts, really good. When we travel to Brighton, we'll back the shop again.
ReplyDeleteI'm a regular at Gustamps and always get a good deal. It's a great little shop and Gus makes everyone feel welcome from the serious collector to someone popping in for a bargain first class stamp. Well worth a visit.
ReplyDeleteWe always buy our stamps from Gus as they are considerably cheaper. The additional bonus is that Gus is warm and welcoming and has a fantastic knowledge of stamps and collecting. A Brighton gem!

ReplyDeleteAwesome little store, great value, you can even get Donald Trump stamps there, what?! Those stamps you can get for 45p instead of 63p are not only cheaper than Royal Mail but you can get some great novelty designs, I will definitely be using this instead of royal mail.

ReplyDeleteExcellent stamp shop. Really friendly, knowledgeable owner. I got stamps for my daughter's school project and lots of first class stamps to use much cheaper than at the post office.
ReplyDeleteVisited this shop with interest in Walt Disney and Owl stamps with a friend and offered extremely good service and historic background on 1940 Olympic stamps too! Really worth the money - 100 stamps for £4 (for decorative wise) and for 1st class; much cheaper than the post office 45p vs 63p and honestly : it is so good to find someone with a passion for philately!! would definitely recommend!
ReplyDeleteWould definitely recommend!
ReplyDeleteA friend and I walked in having some interest in the Walt Disney and Bird stamps and honestly, we were taken aback by how knowledgeable and passionate Gus is : great customer service and extremely well priced. I plan on making another trip just for more stamps since it was not only nice talking to someone sharing an interest for philately but also worh the money!! 1st class stamps 45p vs 63p which is such a bargain!
Excellent service, very friendly, so much better than paying post office stamps. Recommend to anyone!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really lovely little shop and the owner is exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the subject. He gave me a lot of advice and told me the back story on many different stamps, it was truly fascinating. I can't recommend this place enough if you have an interest in the subject. Gus is fantastic and one of the nicest people I've ever met.
ReplyDeleteGreat little Stamp Shop in the Lanes Brighton. A Paradise for all Philatelists, check in out next time you are in Brighton.
ReplyDeleteTook an inherited collection of stamps to Gustamps for some advice. We sold some to Gustamps at a fair price and he gave us very valuable tips about how to sell the rest. He spent a lot of time and effort helping us and would highly recommend him and his shop.
ReplyDeleteOnce again a delight to visit Gustamps. I wish I was a collector rather than just buying the exceptionally good value 1st class stamps on offer so that I could spend longer there. Excellent and charming service as always.
ReplyDeleteThis little shop is jam packed with stamps, current and old from the UK and all over the World, whatever you want or need for your collection you are sure to find here, definitely worth a visit even if you want current postage stamps as they are so much cheaper than the post office!
